LA PALMA AIRPORT
The airport of La Palma opened in 1970 to replace the airport Buenavista. In 2011 the new terminal was built and opened in July. It is located in the municipalities of Breña Baja and Villa de Mazo, at about 8 km from Santa Cruz de la Palma, the capital of the Island.
The bus line 500 connects the airport to Santa Cruz de la Palma and the area of ??Los Cancajos. If you arrive by car you can drive from Santa Cruz de la Palma via the road LP-2 and the LP-5 to the airport. At the exit of the passenger terminal there is a taxi rank.
