BENIDORM
Benidorm is a coast town in the province of Alicante, located about 60 km to the north of Alicante. It has a population of about 69,000 inhabitants, although in summer gets close to 400,000. It is one of the best known tourist destinations in Spain thanks to its shores and the great nightlife it has with its wide range of pubs, bars and nightclubs.
Due to its geographical location, protected from the wind by mountains in the 3 cardinal points that are not open to the sea, you can enjoy a very pleasant temperature throughout most of the year and allows you to swim in warm waters much earlier than in any other beach of the peninsula. Benidorm Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas shores feature blue flag, the highest distinction recognized by the European Union.
In Benidorm you can find a vast offer of entertainment and many parties as Benidorm seems to have signed up for the traditional celebrations of Alicante, with the Bonfires of San Juan, and for those of Valencia with the Fallas. Rent a car in Benidorm and you can see why someone called it the New York of the Mediterranean, a clue ... not only because of the skyscrapers, but also because it is a city that never sleeps.
